BMW Sauber unveils F1.09 launch and tests details
By BMW Sauber F1
November 11 2008
Although the 2008 Formula One season only finished a matter of days ago, the BMW Sauber F1 Team has already released the first details for the coming season: the launch of the new BMW Sauber F1.09 and November test dates .
On 20th January 2009, the eyes of the Formula One world will be on Valencia, as the BMW Sauber F1 Team launches the new BMW Sauber F1.09 in the metropolis on the Spanish Mediterranean. A little later, next year's car will complete its first kilometres round the "Circuit de la Comunitat". Valencia will host the BMW Sauber F1 Team's roll-out for the fourth time in a row.

In the meantime, the engineers of the team from Munich and Hinwil are faced with a lot of hard work: despite having a strenuous season behind them, a number of new aerodynamic components, the Kinetic Energy Recovery System KERS, and the reintroduction of slick tyres mean they have no time to rest on their laurels. The BMW Sauber F1 Team travels to Valencia as early as mid November to test the new technology on the circuit.

On 17th November, Robert Kubica and Christian Klien will start the three-day test programme at the "Circuit de la Catalunya" in Barcelona. One day later, Robert will be driving alongside Nick Heidfeld. Nick and Christian complete the session on 19th November.

Re: BMW Sauber unveils F1.09 launch and tests details
So it seems that in the end, the first test won't be at Valencia, but instead in Barcelona. I think they had a mis-typing, and had said Valencia instead of Barcelona (the "circuit de catalunya" thing was right.

EDIT: after re reading it, Im' still not sure which part is the correct one about the november test location. I gues we will have to wait till the day itself
