2008 BMW Fan Meeting in Munich
By BMW Sauber F1 Team
August 13 2008
It is unquestionably one of the highlights of the calendar for the BMW Sauber F1 Team Race Club: as in the previous two years, all fans will receive an invitation to the 2008 Fan Event, which this year will take place on 25th October in Munich .
In 2007, about 1000 guests accepted the invitation and were entertained by the BMW Sauber F1 Team. Nick Heidfeld produced some exciting demonstration laps in a Formula One car in Munich's Olympic Park. Many fans took this opportunity to meet the team members in person.

The personal contact between Race Club members and the BMW Sauber F1 Team drivers and team management will once again be the main focus of this year's Fan Event. It is guaranteed to include an exciting and entertaining programme for all the family. Details of the programme will be announced over the coming weeks.

Entry to this unique event is reserved to Race Club members. Any fans who are not yet team members can subscribe for either a Silver (44 Euros), Gold (99 Euros) or Platinum (999 Euros) membership in the official fan club of the BMW Sauber F1 Team in the "Race Club" area of this website.

Whatever happens, fans of the BMW Sauber F1 Team should already be keeping 25th October free.

Re: 2008 BMW Fan Meeting in Munich
Anyone here going?

Myself not sure yet.
At the moment I'm not member of the club (don't shoot me! winking smiley), but it wouldn't be a big problem, although I have already lots of BMW Sauber merchandise ( couple of caps, T-shirt, flag, lanyard, etc) so its wouldn't be that beneficial for me.

I was thinking of joining in 2009.

Should be a great event, but flight+hotel+subcription can hurt my economy hehe, especially as there is a high chance that the BMW presentation may be in Munich too in 2009, and I'll have to attend.

Not that sure Barteks.

BMW Welt was built for other purposes. In 2008 the launch was there because it was just after the building was inaugurated. Plus logistically Valencia is better, as they will have to do the roll-out there anyway, and hotels in Valencia are cheaper too.

We will have to wait till early November to know.

Back to the topic, anyone going?
I know already one person here going, a very BMW loyal fan (no, not me) winking smiley
